Paris and London 1851 – 1900: Spaces of Transformation is an international conference about the cultural transfers between the two capital cities in the second half of the nineteenth century. It will take place on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, 2015 at the Maison Française, Oxford. The conference is co-organised by Claire Bitoun, Alexandre Burin and Cécile Roche, doctoral students in French and English literature (Oxford, Paris – Ouest Nanterre La Défense), with the help of Céline Sabiron, (Oxford, Nancy).

Le colloque international Paris et Londres 1851-1900 : Espaces de Transformation portera sur les transferts culturels entre les deux capitales dans la seconde moitié du dix-neuvième siècle. Il se tiendra les vendredi 23 et samedi 24 octobre 2015 à la Maison Française d’Oxford. L’évènement est co-organisé par Claire Bitoun, Alexandre Burin et Cécile Roche, doctorants en littérature anglaise et française (Oxford, Paris – Ouest Nanterre La Défense), avec le soutien de Céline Sabiron, (Oxford, Nancy).
